At the heart of Cos Tan is the product timeless sneakers built for longevity, comfort, and purpose.
The global footwear industry produces over 20 billion pairs of shoes every year, and an average pair leaves behind 11–16 kg of CO₂ emissions across its lifecycle. Traditional leather shoes, in particular, come with one of the highest environmental costs leather tanning consumes enormous amounts of water and uses chromium and other toxic chemicals that contaminate local ecosystems.
At Cos Tan, we choose to walk differently.
Our sneakers are made with vegan leather, recycled components, and low-impact materials that drastically reduce toxic runoff and water use. A pair of responsibly made vegan sneakers can cut carbon emissions by up to 60% compared to conventional leather ones.
But sustainability isn’t just about material it’s about making things that last.
